How do Sections work?

Description

Sections are built for notes on a particular topic or background character. They have some variability to allow for content nesting, and support for NPC's.

Examples

"The Tavern," character attributes, quest options, or nested libraries for other Arcs.

Types

  • Basic Sections

  • Simple Characters

  • Embedded Character Arcs

  • Embedded Story Arcs

Traits

Traits for all Sections

  • Sections have a title.

  • Sections can be imported from any other place where sections are stored.

  • Sections can be sold as individual products on the marketplace.

  • When published to the marketplace, Sections also have a cover image.

Unique Traits

  • Basic Sections

    • Basic Sections contain Pieces

  • Simple Characters

    • Simple Characters have a description.

    • Simple Characters contain pieces.

    • Simple Characters have an avatar image.

  • Embedded Arcs

    • Embedded story arcs and character arcs link to a nested view of an entire Arc. This allows for content to be nested to any degree of detail.

    • Embedded arcs display similar to a Simple Character, but with a link to the nested view.
